Part of the Temple Community

Temple Sinai is an unpretentious, inclusive, egalitarian, welcoming Reform synagogue. Our congregation welcomes and includes interfaith families, families from the LGBT community, and Jews who come from a variety of traditions and practices. Our members are committed to Tikkun Olam, community involvement, and social action.

As Reform Jews, we seek to fulfill the mitzvot of:

  • Ahavat ger (loving the stranger)—those not yet connected or integrated into our congregation; and
  • Keruv (drawing near all who are far)—from the newest temple member to lifelong congregants.

Membership Dues

Temple Sinai's annual financial committments are $877 for a single membership and $1260 for a family membership. In addition, according to the Torah’s concept “to give as God has blessed you,”  Temple Sinai requests that those members who are more fortunate participate in our 'Fair Share' committment schedule, which is detailed in the annual committment form attached below.

Temple Sinai does not deny membership to anyone on the basis of financial need. Requests for dues reductions may be discussed, in confidence, with our Treasurer, Cheryl Hoffmann. For more information on dues, including flexible payment schedules, please contact her at 584-8730.
