Weekend Celebration of Rabbis 25th

June 3-5 will be a weekend to remember as Temple Sinai and the Saratoga Springs community honor Rabbi Linda and Rabbi Jonathan with a three-day celebration to mark the 25th anniversary of their ordination and 25 years as co-rabbis of Temple Sinai. The rabbis will also be receiving their honorary Doctor of Divinity degrees from Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati for serving as rabbis for 25 years since their ordination.  Mark your calendars and attend a weekend filled with memories and festivities.

 

SUNDAY, JUNE 5

2nd Annual Temple Sinai Gala

The National Museum of Dance – 5:30 – 9  p.m.

Silent Auction

Music by Big Medicine

FRIDAY, JUNE 3

Extended Reception and Oneg 6:30 p.m.

Services 8 p.m.

Friday night Shabbat service and reception will honor

those members of our congregation who have belonged

to Temple Sinai for 25 years or more.

 

SATURDAY, JUNE 4

Havdallah Service and Community Potluck Dinner

SPA State Park – 4:30 – 9 p.m.

The Temple Sinai community and the Saratoga Springs community

are invited to participate in the festivities. There will

be games and activities in the afternoon. Dinner will be

served at 6 p.m., followed by storytelling and music at

7:30 p.m. and a Havdallah service at about 8:40 p.m. There is

no cost to those attending.
