Ron Kim was born in Schenectady and grew up in Glens Falls He has lived in Saratoga Springs for over 30 years. He has academic degrees from Colgate University and the University of Chicago and a law degree from Fordham University. He has been a consumer protection and civil rights attorney. He served the city of Saratoga Springs as Chairperson of the Zoning Board and Commissioner of Public Safety before being elected Mayor.
