Temple Sinai Volunteer Day

A number of local organizations participated in the Pine Grove Campground Project of the New York Racetrack Chaplaincy, welcoming summertime backstretch workers and families to lodgings at the campground.

Temple Sinai and the Saratoga Immigration Coalition sponsored one of the cabins. We had a workday on Tuesday, June 14, where volunteers showed up to tackle various tasks, including cleaning and light maintenance, to provide a clean, fresh, welcoming home to the families who will live there.
